Whereever I travel, I like to see the local churches... both from an architectural viewpoint and a viewpoint in history and culture.
On this trip, I did not get time to visit the interior of these churches.

St. Mary's In The Mountains, Virginia City, Nevada, USA, 2005.
This Catholic church, built in 1864, replaced an earlier one that blew down in 1860.
Architect unidentified.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church built in 1876 to replace one burned in 1875, Virginia City, Nevada, USA, 2005.
It was declared a the National Historic Landark in 1961 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1966.
St. Paul's is in the "Carpenter Gothic" style. The Architect is unidentified.
